Tips to succeed in IELTS 2: Finding your level

Before you start your lessons, it is a good idea to find out your current English level. Then you can see how close you are to your Band goal and which skill(s) you need to focus on the most. Remember, there is no dedicated grammar or vocabulary test but both are assessed in the writing and speaking papers. IELTS is interested in your overall English communicative competence. You need to show that you can actually use English well – this is not a test of your academic knowledge of English.

Why not get in touch and sit an informal practice test? You will get feedback on all 4 papers/skills and advice on your current level in each. We can then plan a series of classes to help you progress.
